the funniest shit i’ve seen in maldivian politics went down yesterday. here are a few photos that really speak for themselves.
i lol’d these are the dudes that people select to represent them in the parliament. i can go on and on about how shameless they should be. but you know what? i’m not gunna. i’ll just let the photos speak for themselves.

lets get this straight. if you want to make good music, you would want to get out of someone else’s shadow, and begin “doing your own thing”.
lets face it. you’re not gonna get anywhere if you’re obsessed with that iconic figure you call an inspiration. yeah, even the best figures in EDM have their inspirations, deadmau5 was obsessed with boards of canada and the aphex twin. daft punk was inspired by andy warhol’s art, and me? i’m inspired by something in between deadmau5 and boards of canada, and madeon who i think has contributed to EDM in so many ways.
but you can’t really get anywhere by trying to replicate or mess around with midi files of other artists, can you?
no you can’t.
one thing i’ve learnt over the past few days that i don’t need to give a shit about what the whole “led” image is going to be. i don’t give a shit about what my studio is like, i don’t give a shit about who doesn’t like my music. i’m just gonna let that all flow and take me anywhere that allah almighty has decided to take me.
so before you think, “oh man, i’m gonna make music like X artist or Y singer. oh man! this is gonna be awesome” think again. its not gonna get you anywhere. what you want to people to hear a track of yours and go, “hey, its X artist, right? cool! he makes good music.”
i hope that cleared everything up.
